It is with the greatest pride and pleasure that I introduce Harrogate Photographic Society’s 2026 exhibition. Online this year; to allow greater access and for a longer period. Here you see examples of great photographs made by our members, in four categories, monochrome, nature, urban/street and Yorkshire.

The Society, founded in 1922, is a thriving community of local photographers who cover all genres and disciplines of the art. You are very welcome to join us, whatever your photographic interests or experience. Go to the form on the ‘Get in Touch’ page here to find out more.

We attract acclaimed photographers, expert in a wide range of subjects and genres who typically come in person to share an evening with us. We have a variety of photographic competitions, also skills evenings. One of our key aims is to share with each other our photographic knowledge, skills, enthusiasm. We organise photo outings and walks, when members go out together to make photographs in a variety of locations and situations.
