FEBRUARY SNOWDROP DISPLAYS
The following locations in Yorkshire are known for good snowdrop displays:
Goldsborough Hall near Knaresborough has a snowdrop walk in the 12 acre grounds

MARCH ONWARDS: THE YORKSHIRE ARBORETUM
A vast collection of trees and shrubs, wildflower meadows in the late spring, and a red squirrel enclosure ( [part of a red squirrel breeding programme) set in tranquil landscape with wide vistas, lakes and ponds
Please note that due to ongoing work at the arboretum they are only open for members and their guests in February form 9 am to 12.30, the cafe and shop are currently closed.From March 2nd 2026 they are planning to be fully open to everyone.

APRIL ONWARDS: THE HIMALAYAN GARDEN AND SCULPTURE PARK,NORTH YORKSHIRE
A unique attraction set in 45 acres of rolling woodland (some of which is quite steep!) and gardens inspired by the Himalayas. It is also renowned for its large collection of contemporary sculptures (160) within the gardens.
A partnership with the charity Outdoor Mobility provides an all terrain mobility scooter for visitors to hire and use at the garden
There is also a teashop whose menu is also inspired by the Himalayan region.
The park re-opens for the season on April 2nd
