Ralph Woodhead

As an enthusiastic amateur I don’t have a particular focus to my photography. I take whatever I come across that is interesting and investigate what can be made from it. For many years my photographs were on slide film (the regular sort, Kodachrome 64) such as this example scanned from a 1972 slide. I joined HPS in 2008 and have changed digital cameras regularly as the technology has evolved. My largest recent project, in 2017, was to document the 21 miles of the Harrogate Ringway footpath. More recently, as influenced by the HPS Imagine group, I’m back to being creative with patterns and textures – plus finding images to make people smile or ask questions!
