HPS had a full house for Peter Paterson’s excellent talk ‘Photography My Way’ last monday. Peter’s stunning Scottish landscapes were appreciated by everyone.
Tomorrow evening (10th December), we are joined by renowned professional landscape photographer Chris Ceaser. His talk ‘Into the Landscape’ is an insight into a professional’s approach to landscape photography.
Chris currently has an exhibition of landscape work at Middleton House, just off Monkgate bar in the city of York. For the last 7 years Chris has been compiling a powerful portfolio of work based on the beautiful countryside of northern England. The works on display will include images from The Yorkshire Coast, Dales and Moors, the Northumberland Coast and the English Lake District with a selection from the Scottish Highlands. The exhibition will comprise of around 30-40 framed prints of various sizes including some limited edition work. There will also be 9 print racks full of mounted work.
Entries for the annual HPS print competition are due on January 7th 2013. Time to check your stocks of mount board, paper and inks or to decide who will be doing your printing and mounting.
