I’d just like to draw attention to the photographic opportunities of the forthcoming Goth Weekend at Whitby, 26 to 30 April 2012. There is a news post by Claire Amaranth regarding the mounting frustration over the behaviour of many photographers who overrun the event. Quite a long article but well worth reading and a salutary warning. The BBC discussed the damage being done to the church graveyard by the large number of photographers on Jeremy Vine’s radio show and contacted HPS member Chris Hopkins to use one of his photographs to illustrate the audio article. (Barrie MacJannette)
